DeFi Tour: IceCreamSwap Dex walk through (#Part 2)
In our last DeFi tour article, we provided a broad overview of DeFi, including the different DeFi protocols. You can read that article here.
In this article, we will walk you through the different parts of the IceCreamSwap Dex. We will start by listing out the different components that make up the IceCreamSwap Dex:
Swapping (DEX aggregator): Users can swap tokens quickly and easily, with the best available price, thanks to our integrated Dex aggregator.
Bridge: Users can bridge tokens between different blockchains within minutes.
Staking: Users can stake their tokens to earn rewards, without any time lock.
Farming: Users can provide liquidity to liquidity pools to earn rewards, without any time lock.
Launchpad: Users can participate in token sales of new projects.
DEX aggregator: Users can find the best exchange rates for their trades.
Analytics (Info page): Users can track their transactions and balances, as well as other on-chain transactions such as token price and swaps.
KYC: Users can verify their identity to access additional features, such as participating in community activities and withdrawing large amounts of funds.
Token Deployer: Users can launch their own crypto within seconds.
Here is a step-by-step guide to taking a DeFi tour with IceCreamSwap:
A walk through with IceCreamSwap simply means using all of its key features. This is an easy way to get started with IceCreamSwap.
The first step is to go to the IceCreamSwap website: https://www.IceCreamSwap.com. This will take you to the IceCreamSwap ecosystem page, where you can access all of our different services.
Note: We support 12 different blockchains, so you can select and connect your wallet to the blockchain you want to use. Our list of supported blockchains includes: Core, Telos, Shimmer(testnet), Shardeum(testnet), Base, Fuse, Doge, Xodex, Doken, XDC, Bitgert, and BNB Chain.
Swap tokens
To swap tokens, go to the Trade and then click on “Swap” button this will redirect you to the swap page. Select the tokens you want to swap. Enter the amount of tokens you want to swap and enable the transaction. Then, click the “Swap” button and approve the transaction pop-ups. The IceCreamSwap swap is fully integrated with a Dex aggregator to ensure that users get the best swap output compared to other Dexes.
Bridge tokens
To bridge tokens, go to the “Bridge” page and select the blockchain you want to bridge from (home chain) and the one you want to bridge to (target chain). Then, select the tokens you want to bridge and enter the amount you want to bridge. Finally, click the “Bridge” button.
Stake tokens:
To stake tokens, go to the “Earn” tab. Click “Staking.” Select the tokens you want to stake and enter the amount you want to stake. Click the “Stake” button. Review the transaction details and click “Confirm.” Wait for the transaction to be processed.
Farm tokens:
To farm tokens, go to the “Earn” section and the click on “Liquidity Farms” and select the liquidity pools that you want to provide liquidity to. Enter the amount of tokens that you want to provide liquidity to and click on the “Add liquidity” button and approve the metamask pop-ups.
LaunchPad “ICEPAD”:
To participate in token sales, go to the “Launchpad” section and select the token sale that you want to participate in. Enter the amount of tokens ($ICE or $Core) that you want to contribute and approve the transaction.
Analytics page:
To track your transactions and balances, you have to hover on the on “More” button then click the “Info” button, this will redirect you to the IceCreamSwap analytics page.
KYC (Verify your identity).
To verify your identity, hover on the “More” button and then click the “KYC” and you will be redirected to the KYC page. Follow the instructions and upload the necessary required documents.
Token Deployer (Become a project founder)
To deploy a token on IceCreamSwap, go to the “More” section and click the “Token Deployer” button. This will redirect you to the Token Deployer page. Fill in your required token details and click the “Create Token” button.
