INTRODUCTION

Icecreamswap Dex, a multichain DeFi platform and the biggest Dex on Bitgertchain (Brc-20) with more than 3milliion total liquidity, has integrated Fuse Network into its platform. This is currently in line with the Icecreamswap roadmap of partnering with major Blockchains/networks. The integration of Fuse Network on Icecreamswap will ensure that users enjoy reliable seamless features and standardized DeFi experience.

Fuse Network users can now make use of the Icecreamswap features such as; The decentralized automated market maker (AMM)-based exchange (DEX), liquidity provisioning tool, a multichain bridge and also the Icecreamswap launchpad in the nearest future.

NB: The Icecreamswap Dex currently support and connects to Bitgert chain (Brc-20), BNB Chain, Dogechain, DoKEN Superchain, and Fuse Network. This implies that the Icecreamswap governance token $ICE is deployed on these chains waiting for the next trip to the moon, hope you are geared up for the sweet creamy trip.

BRIEF INFORMATION ON FUSE NETWORK

The Fuse Network makes use of DPoS (Delegate Proof of Stake) as its consensus mechanism, which is also supported by a group of validators that run the nodes to validate network transactions and execute smart contracts on the Fuse Network.

The governance token of the Fuse Network is the $FUSE TOKEN, with a total supply of 300 million across all chains (62,133,373 $Fuse on Ethereum, 5,198,517 $Fuse on Binance smart chain, and 39,963,584 $Fuse on Fuse Network).

The utilities of the $Fuse Token include;

Network Fee — Payment of network gas fees to approve transactions.
Staking — Users who are holding a minimum of 100k FUSE tokens are able to manage other hardware or software requirements can become network validators by staking their tokens.
Delegation — Users who are holding less than 100k can delegate their FUSE tokens to a validator and earn rewards.
Voting — $Fuse token holders can take part in governance activities/voting on the Fuse Network.

Following the partnership with Icecreamswap Dex, features like; Swapping, Liquidity provision and Bridging utilities are now added to the Fuse Networks’ use-case.

SWAPPING TOKENS ON FUSE NETWORK USING ICECREAMSWAP DEX

To make use of the Icecreamswap “Swapping feature” on Fuse Network, you have to add the Fuse Network settings to your wallet (Metamask recommended).

Use the configuration below to set it up;

Network Name: Fuse Network
‍ Network URL: https://rpc.fuse.io
‍ Chain ID: 122
‍ Currency Symbol: $Fuse
‍ Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.fuse.io

i. Then go to Icecreamswap website : https://icecreamswap.com/, and navigate to Swap.

ii. Change your Metamask network to Fuse network (as described above).

iii. Click on “Connect wallet” button and connect your Metamask wallet.

iv. Select the tokens you want to swap (From the list of supported tokens), click on the “Swap” button, then follow the metamask pop-ups to approve your transaction.

NB; Go to your wallet to see the newly swapped tokens, if the tokens are not visible then you may have to import the token to your wallet using the token’s address. You can also confirm your transaction by scanning your wallet on the Fuse Network explorer.

HOW TO BRIDGE TOKENS ON FUSE NETWORK USING ICECREAMSWAP BRIDGE

Users can either bridge tokens from Fuse Network to other supported chains on Icecreamswap Dex or the reverse (vice versa).

The following steps illustrates how to bridge tokens in and out of Fuse Network on Icecreamswap Dex.

How to Bridge Tokens from Fuse Network to other chains supported on Icecreamswap Dex

i. Firstly, go to Icecreamswap website : https://icecreamswap.com/, then navigate to the Bridge page.

ii. Change your Metamask network to Fuse Network (Described above).

iii. Click on “Connect wallet” button and connect your Metamask wallet.

The “Home network” will be locked as Fuse, while the “Destination network” can be any of the chains supported on Icecreamswap Dex (currently Bitgertchain or Binance Smart chain, or Dogechain, or Dokenchain, more chains will be added soon…).

NB: The “Destination Address” will be filled with the connected metamask wallet address, this can be changed to any other address of your choice by toggling the “I want to send funds to my address” Box below.

iv. Select the token you want to bridge (From the list of the supported tokens, more tokens will be added soon..) and then input the amount of tokens you want to bridge.

v. Click the “Transfer” Button below and follow the metamask pop-up instructions to approve your transaction.

NB: Once your bridging is complete, you can check your transaction by going to either Fuse Network explorer or the various blockchain scan of the chain you bridged into; Brisescan (if you bridged to Bitgertchain) or Bscscan (if you bridged to Binance smart chain) or Dogechain scan (If you bridged to Dogechain) or Dokenchain scan (if you bridged to Dokenchain).

How to bridge tokens from other supported chains on icecreamswap Dex to Fuse Network

i. Go to Icecreamswap website bridge page: https://icecreamswap.com/, then navigate to the “Bridge page”.

ii. Change your Metamask network to either Bitgertchain network or Binance network or Dogechain network or Dokenchain (Described in our previous article).

iii. Click on “Connect wallet” button and connect your Metamask wallet.

iv. Depending on network your metamask is connected to ( Bitgertchain network or Binance chain network or Dogechain network, Dokenchain network), the “Home network” will be locked as Bitgert or Binance smart chain or Dogechain,or Dokenchain while you will have to select “Destination network” to be FUSE.

NB: once metamask is connected to the bridge the “Destination Address” will be filled with the your metamask wallet address, this can be changed to another address of your choice by toggling the “I want to send funds to my address” Box below.

iv. Select the Token you want to bridge (From the list of the supported tokens, more tokens will be added soon..) and then input the amount of tokens you want to bridge.

v. Click the “Transfer” Button below, then follow the metamask pop-up instructions to approve your transaction.

vi. Your bridge is complete, you can now scan your wallet address, this will show the bridged token. go to either Brisescan (if you bridged from Bitgertchain) or Bscscan (if you bridged from Binance smart chain) or Dogechain scan (if you Bridged from Dogechain) or Dokenchain (if you bridged from Dokenchain).
